Our commitment to environmental sustainability
Assetlink is strongly committed to actively reducing our environmental footprint. We work collaboratively with our clients to implement systems and procedures that encourage and support environmentally sustainable practices.
As part of our ongoing commitment, Assetlink has developed and implemented a number of Environmental Management initiatives for our cleaning services, including:
- The introduction of ec-H20TM – a piece of cleaning equipment that converts normal tap water into a powerful detergent-like substance, without the need for chemicals. This technology has resulted in up to 70% less water usage across our sites
- The introduction of Dilute Control Technology, which controls the amount of cleaning product dispensed. This helps minimise the amount of harmful toxins released into our waterways and reduces packaging waste into landfill
- Chemicals management procedures, including restrictions on the amount of chemicals and hazardous substances onsite at any one time
- Waste management and recycling programs
- Water minimisation practices
Assetlink currently meets the Environmental Management Standard ISO14001, and adheres to six monthly audits to ensure ongoing certification.
